Pretty smashing effort from this unhinged Brazilian mob, who offer a track for each of this record's seven inches. Furious, scuffed-up d-beat is the order of the day, but while you think you might know that particular tune well enough Timekiller surprise by proffering a hyperactive mix of blown-out raw punk, gargling, reverb-choked vocals and vintage Kill 'Em All riffs. The sound is rabid and violent, one moment blustering all over the place and the next kicking out a face-grating guitar part that might've crept from a Birth Ritual or Visitor practise session. It's pretty sweet, all told: furious, varied and with so much manic energy that you can't help but be carried away by the damn thing whether you want to or not.
