"What you're holding in your hands is the insert to the best single of 2016. I made this record when I was 18. You probably had a purple Mohawk and thought Slipknot was 'interesting'. Fuck you."

This is scrawled on the insert that comes with this record.

Doesn't much endear you to him, does it?

Ugly as it is, Drew Owens' cocksure arrogance isn't entirely misguided, as the A-side here is pretty ripping. A snarling, spittle-flecked, lip-curl of a song that works as a pure, dumb testament to youth and the feeling of know-it-all invincibility that comes with it. Personally I can't help but look forward to its logical successor, '30 And Trapped', but that's just me being old, bitter and negative.

The song on the B-side is called 'Choose Death' and barrels along with a slovenly, drunken rock n' roll riff that's pretty neat but not as good as the spite that kicked things off.
