Some solid, workmanlike melodic punk here. Custody have some riffs, and they sure are gonna play them. Custody have some soaring choruses, and they sure are gonna sing them. I am happy that bands like this still exist. It's not fast, it's not slow, it's not complicated, it's not trying to be anything but five Finnish lads having a good time playing the kind of music they like the most. That music is clearly bands like Samiam. There are probably a few reviews of similar bands buried in the archives here written by Ian Cavell in 1999. That's how out of fashion we are talking here. It's the kind of music we stuck on in the car 20 years ago when driving to a Gameface show. Definitely has that sunny Saturday afternoon vibe, windows down, sausage roll and scampi fries from the service station, cruising down the M3 to Southampton, Simon wants to put the Nerf Herder CD on again. Nice album, not going to blow your mind but it's going to give you pleasant nostalgic feelings, can't say fairer than that really.
