This is great, though not necessarily the sort of record I’d usually pick to listen to on a Sunday. Heh.

Insult to Injury plant their boot in your face from the get go, pile driving into the blast-fest of “Troubleshooter” as soon as the needle hits the groove. Back-breaking hardcore played a rocket-car speeds, drawing favourable comparisons to Assfactor 4 and Palatka. The immediate follow up of “F-Word” showcases their more melodic side, pop punk played at Ass4 speeds, think a long the lines of Former Members of Alfonsin. I love style and would heartily endorse a full record of the stuff. The band utilise dual vocals, both the guys are harsh screamers, but one of them is capable of dropping into singing, like on “Two Syllables”, where they chuck in an emo-rockin’ chorus in I an I Hate Myself vein.

Everything tears round at 45rpm and each side is done before you know it. Frenzied stuff. This is how fast it goes: it got to the end of side B and I was about to turn it over again because I thought I’d onlyh eard one side. Anyway, throw in a lyric sheet with song explanations and you have the package, though the record cover is awful! Crazy hardcore pop punk that you can point your fingers too and spazz around the room too.
