A paltry two tracks here, but it can be forgiven as this is a demo as far as I know. Two tracks of chaotic screamo courtesy of 5 Japanese. It's all pretty standard and nothing out of the ordinary, but it is good. The music is melodic yet pulsates with a ferocious force, and the vocals are harsh and not high up in the mix allowing the quality of the structure of the songs to shine through. The singer is obviously running around frantically, possibly falling on the floor or knocking his band mates over. The style is similar to any other band that has enjoyed and wants to play something similar to Reversal of Man or Orchid in the past 6-8 years. Or like Envy were before they got obsessed with post-rock.

As with lots of other Japanese bands which I am familiar with that happen to pick up on a particular style, they are highly competent at it, nailing all the elements that make this kind of thing listenable. If I was 5 years younger and saw this shit live I'd be spazzing with the best of them.

Lots of screamo bands should listen to this and take notes. If they stick around long enough to do an LP it'll probably be one of the better things to come out of this genre in quite some time. Interesting lyrics too.
