Narcosis first up to bat with four tracks of hate-filled grindcore that's clearly been through the Pig Destroyer/Agoraphobic Nosebleed wringer, dashing savagely fast, algorithmically complicated riffs against grating discords and the voice of a man who truly wishes you dead. Final track 'Broken Finger Stranglehold' has something of a Benumb feel to it and is probably the standout here, slowing the pace to an unkind crawl and really taking the time to smash your face into the wall as screeches of feedback tear through uneasy pauses like screams from the top floor of a burning building. Raging and more than a little terrifying.

Something about Swarrrm sounds comparatively sedate this time around, like maybe they've managed to get to their singer's prescription filled before he could transmogrify into the craven, gibberish-spouting two-headed beast we're almost coming to terms with. Nonetheless, their two tracks are still utterly berserk, flying through some maniac grind that matches Narcosis blow for blow musically if not for seething menace, thus suitably rounding off another smart release from Crucifados.
