Lurching, anguished hardcore that's so mired in hate and negativity that it manages to draw parallels with such heavyweights as Rorschach, Deadguy and Swans. Largely sticking to a mid-paced scrape, the ten tracks on offer represent a jarring, uncomfortable listen that, at its most effective, becomes downright harrowing, numbers like 'Consumed By Failure' and 'Corpse' so loaded with undisguised loathing that each unforgiving chord is like a lead weight hitting your chest. Dissonant guitar shrieks puncture the otherwise dense recording, permanently at odds with the locked-in pound of the rhythm section and giving off a queasy, off-kilter sense of paranoia that matches the mood of lyrics perfectly, doomed as they are to feelings of futility, confusion and utter fucking failure.
