This is a six track sampler showcasing the latest work from European female experimental musicians and rather varied it is too.

Track 1 by Maja Osojnik has a continually oscillating, yet endlessly pleasing whoop sound with an angry woman speaking nonsense over it.

Track 2 by Elisabeth Schimana soundtracks the experience of being trapped inside a vacuum cleaner as it is used by someone to remove dust from the huge pipe organ inside the Albert Hall.

Track 3 by Ute Volker only lasts 1 minute and 10 seconds and is mostly just this sound; nslrjhltwebgrlqiwegilrugnlviuegrbiluanewglivbuyawlivaliwwwwentliawenltivubwaeiltuun;isrthg'aocix,uep9zuneqrutfgadsbc.`zbnxvkjrhgnpreeeeep.

Track 4 by Cherry Sunkist starts off by going doo bee doo but then turns slowly into Julee Cruise singing “Somewhere over the Rainbow” in the style of the woman from Allo Allo whilst someone blows into a piece of tissue paper wrapped around a comb.

Track 5 by Carla Bozulich begins beautifully, but then she starts shouting as though she's the narrator from “The Pit and the Pendulum” and time is quickly running out. I thought for a moment she was actually singing the lyrics from “It Was a Good Day” by Ice Cube, which would have made this the single best thing anyone has ever created, but then I realised she wasn't.

Track 6 by Gravida is essentially all 74 minutes and 29 seconds of the Tangerine Dream album “Zeit” condensed into 8 minutes and 13 seconds and is probably the best thing on here.

This is a six track sampler showcasing the latest work from European female experimental musicians and that was my review of it.
