Whilst most of the other modern French emo bands have come and gone, Sed Non Satiata are still going strong. It's 8 years since they released their first vinyl record, a split with Aghast. This LP is a continuation of their sound; you'd be hard pressed to figure out in what order their records came out from the music alone. Being well-acquainted with it (and a fan of their records) I find that it lacks the punch of the earlier output, but it could be my familiarity with it. The combination of sung and shouted vocals still work wonders at times, with 'Ghost' an absolute standout track. Hopefully some new to French emo will latch onto this and be further inspired to check out the many other quality French bands that were/are out there.
