This is the latest in OddBox’s rather good 100 Club 7″ series which has featured the likes of Martha, Bloomer and Chorusgirl amongst numerous others in the past. This one features the now defunct Whitebelt with two new tracks and it’s kind of krautrock-like and distinctive in nature. The first track, “Eyes On The Feet”, is bouncy, catchy and awkward while “Crave” moves around a bit more with different tangents explored along the way. The indie pop of a lot of OddBox’s releases is more up my street in general and I’d struggle to fill up a postage stamp with my krautrock experiences but this is still an enjoyable listen and “Eyes On The Feet” is a particularly fine tune.
