Six tracks of brisk, fiery, tightly-wound hardcore from Tokyo. The springy, lightly-distorted guitar sound and urgent, youthful delivery all scream (at a wall) “early days of Dischord,” and just in case this weren’t enough to let you know where they’re coming from they lay it on even thicker by tacking a Government Issue cover on the end. I started out thinking this was ‘good’, but multiple plays have left me thinking 鏡 are actually really good, and I can’t wait to hear where they might head next.
