No Slogan - National Threat - 7

Super frickin’ simple socially-conscious hardcore here from these Chicago folks, plugging away over six mid-to-fast paced numbers featuring thick meat n’ potatoes riffing, simple beats and harshly-shouted vocals that aren’t afraid to stray into anthemic territory for a proper good ol’ fist-in-the-air singalong as they rail against fashion “œpunx”, the media, wage slavery and various other little bugbears sticking in their collective craw. It’s not jaw-droppingly amazing by any stretch of the imagination, just a solid little nugget of punk rock wholesomeness offering a glimmer of honesty in these often empty times.
