So-so rock n’ roll infused hardcore that comes and goes without too much fuss. Vocals are burly, guitars dig, scrape and solo to their hearts’ content while the songs are loaded with a hefty chunk of mean-spirited sarcasm. Highlights include a sleeve that folds out into a “school shooter” boardgame, the look of the globby pink vinyl as it twirls atop my turntable and the fact that the band have the chucklesome good grace to put “the hype that has surrounded us since day one” on their thanks list. Overall, though, rather inessential.
