Do you pine for the days when bands like Kerbdog, China Drum, Cable, Honeycrack and A ruled the British toilet circuit? Probably not, but people of a certain age (i.e. OLD) will be getting misty-eyed right now, and perhaps rightly so. The aftermath from Nirvana produced myriad bands that had tunes you could sing along to guilt-free since the guitars were loud and drums were heavy. Left Side Brain may be bringing their meat ‘n’ potatoes rock to the table a decade late, but I’m definitely not complaining. LSB really know how to craft a song, sticking in some memorable melodies and satisfying crunchy riffs. Bit of a gem!
