This single fucking rules. There is something hugely unappealing about electro records (maybe the fact that most of them are total shit) but every now and then a gem like this will come along and remind you just how good dance music can be.
Alter Ego is basically hard techno with a real electro fuzzy sound which is kind of like some of the Kompakt release (Rex the Dog etc) and just as good.
The title of the record is bang on too as it’s got a real rock beat behind it – it sounds unbelievable whilst one is off ones face.
