Labels: Busted Heads

An oldie here from the now-defunct Busted Heads label, but what the hell “” this thing still brings home the goods and crushes where so many others fail miserably.
Artimus Pyle never fail to impress with their furious doom-laden hardcore, surging between huge earth-scrapingly slow riffs and a full-throttle shitstorm as one hateful tirade after another is indignantly blurted out, sounding rather like a pack of semi-starved beasts tearing each other limb from hairy limb.
Diallo are cut from the same grubby cloth as their buddies on the flip, showcasing a similar penchant for slow, crushing brutality before charging into the fray with all guns blazing. Their two songs will beat you blind, and it’s too tough a call to name one clear victor in this bloodthirsty contest, but suffice it to say that if you’re still standing once they’re through you’ll consider yourself stronger for it.
