How cool is this? I have heard fuck all from Bedford for AGES, and now they release a “greatest hits” record. The shit thing is, it’s all been done after they called it a day. Nothing lasts forever, huh?
For those of you unfamiliar with Bedford, they are an east-coast US pop-punk band. And this is their definitive anthology. For those of you who do know them, unless you own every single thing they ever put out, you NEED to get this.
25 songs, all of which are great. Happy, fast, uplifting pop tunes. They sound really odd, because their lead singer sounds like Buddy Holly, and their backup singer yells like he’s in a super hardcore band. There’s even a couple of tunes with a female singer on them, and she sounds an awful lot like Alison from Discount.
Fan of pop-punk? You need this. It is a classic, fer sure.
