I am probably not the best person to review this record but I shall have a go, because I quite like it. I also really like the thick coloured vinyl, on more than one occassion have I actually started chewing on it. Ok, Benny is up first. I guess people have run out of names for bands. Benny? It sounds like what you call your dog when you don’t have any other ideas. Although I call dogs ‘bastard’ personally. They play 3 tracks, the first of which is way the best. It’s a fast, rocking melodic punk number that sounds very British. Back a few years ago I listened only to music that sounded like this for a couple of weeks, then I got hooked on the Promise Ring. This is stuff like Travis Cut or Hooton 3 Car or something. The brain is misty. The vocals are urgent and fit the music well, the guitars rock out and chug along at a good pace. The second track follows on with more of the same, and then the 3rd one is like if the Bonzo Dog Doodah band were punk, or I guess like Wat Tyler. Hmm.

Baby Little Tablets took advice on naming their band from Benny I think. Anyway, this sounds like lots of bands on Snuffy Smile, because they are Japanese and have that same drunk singer that all the bands on Snuffy Smile have. It’s melodic punk rock with an edge (i.e. no production) and it’s spirited and good fun. The second song is by far the best of the 2, I especially like the Dillinger 4-esque guitar thumping. I guess if I am being smart I could say the second track is like “Cradle to Grave”.
