Just when I thought I’d heard everything this noisy, party-instrumental sub-genre of rock had to offer, Caesura come along and show me how much more there is you can do with a guitar, bass, drum-kit and some geezer yelling. I think Caesura have a real knack of making catchy bits out of noisy bits, helped by keeping things rhythmically pretty conventional, with very clever guitar action over the top. It did start to wash over me after a while, but it’s consistently pretty damn good. Another hit from this great new label.
