I’ve been wanting to hear Cheer-Accident for a while now. I think this came out a while ago, but I’m going to review it anyway. This seems to be a collection of different recordings, but the whole thing flows quite well, so I’m not sure if it’s meant to be an album or some kind of compilation… oh well! Cheer Accident specialise in mostly instrumental, occasionally discordant, mellow rock which goes off on tangents a lot (but in a good way). It takes in a lot of influences on the way too, like jazz, prog rock and lounge. Overall I really like this, and it’s nice to hear a Skin Graft release that is pretty easy on the ears. Great picture of a tasty looking iceberg lettuce on the cover as well.
