More black-hearted doom leeching like a poisonous grey fog from Japan, this time a six-song sacrifice of demo and live recordings carved in stone and drenched in the blood of innocents. Like the slow descent of a jagged blade in the bony hand of some cowled ghoul there’s no sense of hope or pity to be had here, just the savage resolve of those seeing their vile ritual through to its bloody end. Should this be your calling then you’re probably already lurking somewhere in the shadows, sputtering candle in hand, hood pulled low over your face. If, on the other hand, this sounds like the kind of misery you can do without, you’d be well advised to creep back the way you came without a sound – otherwise that might just be you next on the altar…
