Conrad - In Resonance - CD (2003)

Labels: self released
Review by: Mark Skold

It’s always refreshing to hear bands that don’t come from the normal places – Devon is one of those not normal places. That’s where Conrad are from.

It’s pretty obvious that this has been done DIY, which is always a good sign. Damn the man, and all that. Conrad present, for your listening pleasure, 4 songs, which have a Pixies or Husker Du sound to them. Their CV is fairly good, having opened for the likes of Favez and thisgirl, but that’s where it kind of finishes.

It’s nothing new, really. There’s an intellectual quality to it, but none of it really hits too hard unfortunately. All in all, a fairly average offering.
