On this new twelve inch Cylob stays pretty weird and pushes the acid like electronics further into the abyss of strangeness. The first track sounds very “rephlex”, its almost as if it were made to confuse the listener and yet at the same time it’s a really good track which demands playback. It pulses along and has a fucked up break over the top that makes me think back to the most recent Luke Vibert cd.
The rest of the record is really good, it just isn’t that interesting and it made me want to listen to something with more power!
