8 tracks of raging HC here from these guys, split rather intriguingly with 6 songs on side A, and two on the B. It’s all pretty simple stuff for the most part. Hammering away with gruff sung vocals, a harsh semblance of melody and a whole lot of almost thrashy pace, without every disappearing down the pit of craziness. They have some good, angry lyrics, and there are plentiful opportunities to point your finger, and fill in the “GO!” part. Best track is “Battle Scarred” which is the most melodic of the 8, and easily the most danceable too. The final track, “Painless” is super long and totally gets moshy, but not in a metal way. Which is good.
Comparison wise, I’d put it in the bracket of bands like Hail Mary, but without quite the chaotic element those guys had. Basically if you like fast, straight ahead hardcore that doesn’t set off the metal detector. These guys have now split and are in a band called Tear It Up (cool name), who are even better, from what I’ve heard of them.
