The second in the Narnack Records buddy series, and it’s another average release!!! The split between Sonic Youth and Erase Errata was actually a lot better than this.
The Deerhoof stuff is very throwaway, especially after their great full length. Very similar to some of the bad mid period Melt Banana stuff (although they could at least pull it off live). The wholse side is terrible, and it ends in the worst possible way – a cheap fadeaway? Cheers!
I’d never heard of Kit, judging by this record they play very noisy indie rock which is again very similar to Melt Banana or maybe Mars with almost screamo mosh parts. The recording is very lo fi which sounds pretty cool, but there just aren’t any songs!
Dont pay five pounds for this 7″.
