Having bought this for the lovely cover (hey, you’ve got to take a chance on lovely artwork once in a while) I’m pretty disappointed. Dj Ordeal is whacky cut up dance/electronica which mixes and matches funk records, piano pieces and other weirdness. Although the DJ is doing a lot, he doesn’t do a lot for me. Maybe if it were a lot noisier like most of the V/VM stuff then I might have been able to enjoy it a little more, but as it stands it’s going at the back of my record collection with my People Like Us 7″.
