Labels: Dead Digital

This is the third release that I’ve heard from the Dead Digital camp and like their past releases it bridges the worlds of the electronic and the lo-fi indie rock communities pretty well.
Escape Pod have a lot more of a proper band feel about them, and conjure up thoughts of bands such as Bitmap, Manitoba, Super Furry Animals, The Shins and The Beta Band. This really got me really excited after a few listens and it sucked me in pretty quickly with its melodic pop hooks.
I’d really like to see this band open up for someone really spacey like M83 or Dead Meadow.
