I know Spread encountered a lot of problems putting this CD out, but it has arrived as promised. The packaging job is amazing, and so are the tunes. For anyone who doesn’t know these guys were from the early 90s DC scene, with their members going on to play in Hoover, the Sorts, Most Secret Method …. This CD compiles 7 tracks from two recording sessions, finally documenting this overlooked group. Musically it reminds me a lot of bands from this period in that it is rocking and heavy, containing melodic passages with an emotional vocal style. I get the feeling that bands like Split Lip and Fabric drew inspiration and influence from these guys. Anyone interested in their DC history will want a copy of this to enjoy.
