Freeform is pretty harsh electronics (not noise), there are misplaced beats (but they are repetitive and not crazy like Kid606 or Hrvatski) over eerie noises. The older record I heard was a bit harder, but this is so much weirder and interesting. The b-side is basically exactly the opposite to Isan i.e the only real sounds on this side are beats and there aren’t really many atmospherics in the background. The b-side is more driving and is also reminiscent of the most recent Autechre ep.
All in all a good 7″, nothing amazing but I’ll be playing the a-side quite a bit I can imagine.
