Oooooh…screamy, pounding, wailing guitars and stretchy “singing” that do just mighty fine for me on a rainy Sunday evening.
Here we have 4 tracks which are pretty much along the veins of “Residue” from their ‘My Will To Die Is Dead’ 7″. At times reminiscent of Angel Hair, Native Nod and Yaphet Kotto even. But no, they don’t sound anything like the mentioned bands. Once again, you won’t have a clue what Mark is singing about unless you follow the lyrics. And such clever lyrics too. The one that does it for me is the last track; “El Toro” which is styled in a more rock-and-roll-knees shaking fashion.
On the whole, this record slowly lifts you up, then forcefully “Crashing Down” and leave you begging for more.
