Hail Mary - Not Live - 7

Labels: hopscotch
Review by: Andy Malcolm

The coolest thing about this record is the picture on the record sleeve, a dude with a tuba superimposed on his face. Ha! And the music doesn’t suck either. That tells you how cool the cover is.

Oh, Hail Mary. Have you heard them yet? You should have. Slightly chaotic hardcore with that singer who always shouts distortedly and in a monotone. You can’t read a review of them without also observing the words “Born Against”. Mix that with Assfactor 4, and you got the HM sound, mo’fo. I still haven’t gotten around to spinning their LP that much, but they are a definitely a super good band. I wasn’t sure about this 3 tracker the first time I span it, but leaving it 2 weeks, and now it is making me want to get up and shake ma booty. Definitely a groove.

If you’re still not hailing Mary, then this is an ideal way for you to check them out. A quickfire 3 track burst of surefire energy and noise. This is not live. Rock this shit.
