Three piece noise band Hair Police come blasting out of Kentucky with their latest full length l.p, and I’m almost lost for words. I was slightly disappointed that their utterly bombastic live show didn’t translate that well to record, going on the previous releases that I have heard from them, but “Obedience Cuts” buries any slight reservation I may have had regarding the band in the past. Nine tracks of absolute full-on, disgusting filth that will blow your brains out from the second opening track breaks loose. If Sightings are too polished for you, then you may find some joy here. An eerie, explosive listen that will get all noise kids slamdancing like the Circle Jerks did in the early 80s. Dude!
