Four moderately fast, crusty hardcore songs from Japan. There is nothing crisp, clean or nice about this record whatsoever, just a manic squall of messy thrash licks, ragged solos, tinpot drumming and energetic yells and hollers. No clue as to what the lyrics are about as there’s no lyric sheet and I can’t speak Japanese for the life of me. One song is called “Hammer/More Hammer’, and could well document the rise and fall of one of hip hop’s more risible sons, but that is just my personal interpretation. If you have a place in your heart for knockabout, crust-flecked hardcore then here’s one for you. And that’s that.
