I have no idea who these guys are at all, but I have to say that this is a super decent little 7″. I like the aircraft theme, and what sounds like an aeroplane sample at the start. Anyway, the title track is a quirky indie rock number with some awesome vocals. I am not sure who to compare the band to musically, I guess the closest I can think of is a cross between Braid and the Lapse! Some really nice melodic parts with dual male & female vocs, and some twistin’ rockouts too. “From Foot to Foot” is less straight forward and more mathy, the guy singer does a really good Chris Leo styled part a couple of times. I think you’d be into this record if you like Caulfield bands like Giants Chair and Her Flyaway Manner, that’s the sort of thing we’re talking about here. Anyways, I can recommend this somewhat, and I hope someone is nice and sends me their CD for review too someday! 🙂
