Fucking hell! Thrash thrash thrash all the way! This is awesome! I don’t know a single band that really sounds too much like this, but I know this rocks! Fast, thrashing 80s hardcore with lyrics obsessed with skating. I mean, check out that kick-ass artwork. Four songs all told, and they are all dynamite. There’s plenty of scope for going nuts, running around, pointing fingers for no apparent reason and just going off here.
And just check the lyrics to ‘Board to Death’:
“I just wanna skate, I don’t want to go to school” and “Don’t need all the frustration, what I need is a vacation, with nothing but a ramp and non-alcoholic beer.”
I dunno. If you are into DS13, What Happens Next?, 80s hardcore bands that I am too uncool to know about, or like to skate and break your neck, you’ll dig this a lot. Sorry this is a short review, but what else is there to say about cool, fast hardcore? This rips / shreds / tears / [other skate adjective].
PS – I am only 99.5% sure I am listening to this on the right speed.
