Woo! Another amazing non ‘old school emo’ record that fucking looks like one! the packaging on this is great, very much like indian summer etc. Handmade cover with beautiful drawings of strange shapes. Actually I’d say the artwork on this is more like that of a Gasp record.
Keeping in tradition with the old-school emo lookalike record this has 130/500 drawn on the cover and the song titles written on the cover in typewriter (exquisite honeyed tart and hugs now, no kisses (hugos sleep time)). Oh yes, pretty strange!
This totally sounds nothing like Gasp or anything like that though! Its spacey ambient electronica, really dark in a reserved kind of way. At times it is pretty much like Susumo Yokoto if that means anything to you. It also reminds me slightly of the Goonies theme tune (like that Cure song does!). If you see this be sure to have it away!
