This could be seen as a rip off, a twelve inch single (one side of which is a remix and the other, I believe, is going to be on their next lp) which was the price of a full length album. Hmmm. Was it worth the money?
Of course it was! It’s fucking Khanate, it looks beautiful, it sounds incredible “” even better than the lp if you ask me and it’s beyond nasty. Its also helping me wallow in my own self pity, which could be seen as good or fucking bad.
If you got the last lp and like a few of my friends thought it was a little bit weak, you may fare well to check this out, it’s a lot spacier and has a slight industrial sound (although more Swans than Nine Inch Nails) and is just a lot nastier. I always preferred the Burning Witch full length (towers) to the Khanate record, mainly because it felt a lot rawer and had more metal artwork, but judging on the new track on this, the new record is going to be pretty fucking amazing.
