As if this wasn’t just waiting to come out, a split release between two of the best artists on the noisy electronic scene. Both artists have been around for fucking ages (albeit The Bug under different names such as Ice, and Techno Animal) and it seems they could do just about anything and people would buy it, both have got me hooked and I eagerly await the next Kid or Bug record with much anticipation because I haven’t often been disappointed. Things don’t change here, Kid606’s side is an extremely noisy dancehall track, the basslines are totally jungle and nasty. The second version is pretty good too, its packed with funny whirs and beats and Wayne Lonesome’s vocals are fucking brutal. The Bug is always good. This is his more noisy stuff and it pounds. This however doesn’t top his take on the Graffiti track which was music fucking heaven.
