Just played this on 33rpm, whoops, the band started churning out some particularly sludgey grind with top raaaaaaa vocals. Now I got it sorted, and it’s playing something that my ear is more atuned too – hairy scary hardcore punk rock with screamed vocals and the occasional trace of a melody. Mix up some Dillinger 4 (they are Minnesotan’s after all), the fastest Kid Dynamite songs, anda more hardcore inluence like, what, Born Against or something? It’s all fast punk rock riffs with the occasional breakdown to groove to. And it’ll tire you out. I think that with a little more production, these guys must really tear it up, but for now, this is good enough. Extra points for a song called “Spy Hunter”, the nice embossed cover, and the fact that this is on the same label that put out an MIJ 7″.
