Any band named after one of the most incredible boxers ever must be good. But unlike the expectations of a battering of the senses this is short and sweet sun drenched punk, as the title would suggest. Plenty of “ooo ooo ooo’s”, lush pop harmonies and dirty fuzzy guitars.
This is like Jawbreaker without gruff vocals, or a slower Unknown. The second track “bondage” is very hard and a really well written song like all of the five on here.
I’ve just noticed the sun stays up until at least 6 now and this is leading me nicely into warmer weather. Like all things on Boss Tuneage this is cheap as so pick it up if you want picking up. Also available on seven inch I think, if you carry your record player down the beach with you.
