Wife at these speeds! So so good. Powerful Yaphet Kotto-esque emo blastage with sad vocals (one guy on this recording sounds like Spencer from the Shivering) and intense guitars that soar all over the place. Its tailor made for you to fall around all over your bedroom floor to, clenching at your shirt and shuddering lots. This is a good track but makes me think that LaTS are best enjoyed over the course of an entire LP, as one song seems to be nowhere near enough especially when it has a couple of lengthy breakdown parts where not so much happens. Even so, they’ve jammed in a shedload of crushing melody and quality to this song and it’ll tide you over if you want to hear something new by them. Love it.
End on End are on the flip and they are not a band I have ever been seriously into. Their song is a solid piece of rocking hardcore with angry sounding vocals. It is melodic and quite fast paced, and is pretty solid. Really reminds me of something that I can’t quite dredge up from memory. I like it, but it’s a bit too beefy for me overall.
