This is going to be huge, I never really doubted that this band could get big and this record is going to be the record that does it. It’s not as song based as the tracks on the lp, it’s so much more dance and sounds a lot more like Out Hud with better vocals than they had when they played live. The a-side is a great track though, punk-funk drums, nice dubby strummed guitars, funk bass lines and clean Clash like vocals and a well written danceable track. I’m sure their old fans will like this a lot, it aint that different really. The remix on the other side is dead good too, I can’t wait for them to play it next time i’m out on the town its so danceable!! I might just have to go and see them now even though I’m sure it’ll be packed with cunts.
With this being on Warp here in the UK Im sure its going to be played in nearly every club round the country, at electroclash nights, at indie nights and all the weird club nights that we all go to.
