“Hot Love” was originally, I think, written by T Rex and if it wasn’t it bloody sounds like it. The shuffling rhythms on the main mix complete with pulsating synthesizers make a great club tune though, even if it did take me a while to get my head around it. The DJ Koze mix was a cracker too with bleeps and whirlz all over the place and a bit of messing around with time signatures to boot.
The highlight though is the full 12″ DJ Koze mix; it flows like Kraftwerk’s “Computer Love” but with a shuddering rhythm, and lacking the flow of “Computer Love”.
