So with this we get some funky, hugely energetic melodic Boston hardcore, pretty predictable stuff I guess but when it’s done this well I can’t really complain, great songs played really well with a nice sharp studio sound. What makes this record really special for me though is the live radio session added to the end of the cd version, it appears they went down to the studio with pretty much everyone they know and just had a bit of a laugh. And that’s exactly what it sounds like, not in a twatty fucking people about kind of way, but loads of people just singing along and enjoying the punk, which again, the band plays perfectly. Kind of sounds like they got one of those occasional moments in hardcore where a show just comes out perfectly, and managed to get it on tape, or maybe every show in Boston is like that, but i doubt it…
A sweet record that allows you to feel really good about hardcore, pick it up.
