Awesome 12 tracks of fast comedy Hardcore, Emo, Thrash from California.
This has been out for a few years I think, but i’ve just got hold of it so I thought a quick review was in order.
Limited to 666 copies, full of piss takes of religion on the cover and inner artwork, it’s pretty safe to say these guys aren’t relgious one bit. There is a photocopy from a page in the bible, that you can send off to the label, to get a special cdr of the record. Cool idea.
I’m really loving this record – it’s ace, the style is pretty melodic a lot of the time, but it has its more thrashy moments. The lyrics are pretty decent, switching between interesting/amusing. Musically there are some comedy bits, like playing the American anthem in a thrash song, but there are also some bits when it gets a bit more serious, atmospheric and dischordant which are pretty awesome.
Overall this is a great record, It has a good mix of sounds whilst still keeping pretty thrashy! I like it anyway.
