Whomp. You have to feel the sounds of the emo violence. Blistering bursts of sheer energy and chaotic hardcore force, 9 tracks on a 7″. Totally harsh, sick vocals, no pauses between songs, just feedback. Anyone remotely interested in a band like Jenny Piccolo, or Orchid is going to want to grab a hold of a copy of this quick smart and use it to soundtrack those less calm times. Oh, they got a dark, emo twinkle going on in the final song, “I’m Sad For You” too. Beautiful. Oh my. There’s a track called “Fuck You”. One called “Oh Shit”. And one called “Elvis Wears Nikes”.

Kick ass, these guys know hardcore has to progress to avoid becoming stagnant, and this record is their fight against the tide. As good as anything I’ve heard in this style. If you like it fast and punishing, yet with the essential emo edge to contrast so incredibly – get with it. Oh, um, You & I. Ex-members. Yup.
