OneXMore - s/t - 7

Labels: Commitment
Review by: Ian Cavell

I thought I’d might as well lump these two 7″s into the same review – cuts down on the typing you see (god knows I spend enough of my day sitting behind a computer anyway). And also because OneXMore are so fucking class you’re gonna want to pick up both these babies anyway.

So, two 7″s each with 6 tracks of prime time straight edge hardcore that will stimulate all the right receptors. Taking all the proper cues from Minor Threat while screaming the vocals through a couple of layers of distortion; these songs are pretty damn awesome. If push came to shove, I’d say the tracks on ‘they say you sold out’ 7″ are the stronger (which makes sense, its the most recent of the two). Especially as that 7″ includes the songs ‘there goes my hero’ and ‘what its really about’ which are so fucking hot they’ll reduce your turntable to a smouldering pile of ash if left unattended. But its all good stuff, and played with passion
and energy that you simply can not fault. YES!
