Hell. Yes. I like this rather much. Well, I like side A anyway. What with the Hives and all that stuff being popular, I guess there is a lot of this kinda stuff around lately, but I tend not to be exposed to it as I only ever get to hear this sort of thing very occasionally. I tend to like it when I do get me ears wrapped round it mind.

On side A, “soul is sold” is a balls-out tune that fly a long, nitro fuelled by screamin’ guitars and excellent vocals. My rather feeble references place it somewhere between Hot Snakes and early Rye Coalition, but someone with every single garage punk 7″ issued between (whenever that genre started) and 2002 would probably say it sounds like “The Flamin’ Nose Hairs” crossed with “Hell on a Cheesecake”. The second track is more restrained for the most part but is very danceable. It has a vaguely 80’s feel to it, but is still pacey and not shit. Meanwhile, “Enslaved” is some kind of psychedelic wig out and I am afraid I simply don’t take enough drugs to appreciate this one.

Shit. Our phone is making some mad ass noise.

Anyway, this is quality punk rock for the bastard in you.
