This flat-out fucking rocks in a punch-you-in-the-bollocks, rip-off-your-head-and-shit-down-your-neck-hole sort of fashion, but I would expect nothing less from a power trio consisting of a couple of guys from hardcore thrash geniuses DFA (a.k.a. Destined For Assimilation). Joining forces with some passing drumgod from the frozen wastes of Canadia helps them bring forth some seriously thunderous grindcore damage. They keep banging on about weed (check out that title) but really this sounds like the aural equivalent of mainlining crack up your jacksy (allegedly). Harsh as hell and fast as lightning, with the sort of dense production job that would have Acme wincing, this still has catchy bits right at the heart of the matter to not render it an entirely pointless metal workout, with tons of fluid changes incorporating hardcore, punk, metal, the whole caboodle. I think the track order is a bit buggered, but they even enunciate well enough for you to discern the lyric sheet. Lovely.
