The is a nice little record.
Prague is Alessandro from Italy, who runs the Eaten By Squirrels label. On his side of the record he plays the song “Save Us” which is a really nice acoustic song, with good vocals. It’s pretty simple stuff but very nice and a very pleasant listen, I’m really liking this song. I’m not quite sure who to compare him to so I won’t bother. This is a nice song I would buy the record for this song alone.
My Dear Killer is S! who appears to be from the UK. On his side of the record he plays the song “Forecast” which is a slightly more complicated song comprising of Guitar, Auto-harp and vocals (plus some football match commentary). The song is an interesting composition quite folky, possibly not too different from Damien Rice.
Overall I prefer the Prague side but this is a good little record. I believe it’s Limited to 50 copies so if your a fan of straight forward melodic singer songwriter stuff get it while you can.
